The Council and Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce have kicked off the ninth international health care trade mission, this time to South America. The trip, which runs from Nov. 14-19 and is led by HCA Retired Chairman and CEO Jack Bovender, takes 30 executives Santiago, Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina, for up-close perspectives of health care in the two countries and the greater South American region.
The City Paper sat down with Caroline Young, Council president, and Janet Miller, Chamber chief economic development and marketing officer, to hear more about why these trips continue to be a relevant way to expand Nashville’s leading health care industry.
