Jumpstart Foundry Sets Out to Redefine Innovation at Health:Further Conference
Inclusive Innovation at heart of unique program agenda
Event will bring providers and entrepreneurs together to advance
provocative, pragmatic solutions to healthcare’s biggest problems
Jumpstart Foundry today announced a lineup of speakers and sessions for its inaugural Health:Further conference that is focused less on disruptive or incremental approaches to change and more on what it’s calling “Inclusive Innovation.”
“Inclusive innovation is about putting creative entrepreneurs at the same table with the people responsible for actually delivering care on a daily basis and having them work together to figure out how to bring new, innovative solutions to an extremely complex industry and delivery system,” said Vic Gatto, CEO of Jumpstart Foundry, a healthcare-focused, mentor-driven accelerator on a mission to Make Something Better™.
Health:Further – set for Aug. 19-20 at the Omni Nashville Hotel – is a collaboration about how to apply some of the most meaningful innovations coming into the market to some of healthcare’s biggest challenges. The conference will explore three vital areas of healthcare innovation:
- Business Model Innovations
- Technology Innovations
- Startup Innovations
To help lead the charge, Jumpstart has recruited honorary Chairman Chris Taylor, president of Parallon, a leading provider of business and operational services for hospitals and health systems.
“Innovation is at the core of everything we do at Parallon,” said Taylor. “We are excited to be part of the inaugural Health:Further, which will feature talented speakers and showcase innovative solutions for some of the healthcare industry’s greatest challenges.”
