Baxter Lee, CFO at Entrada, received the Health Care Emerging Leader of the Year award. Lee has extensive experience in the health information technology and private equity fields and serves on the board of directors and strategic development committee of LHC. Previously, Lee was vice president of finance and strategy and director of corporate development at Emdeon.
Wes Pass, vice president of Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s national for-profit health care group, was named Ambassador of the Year. This award recognizes an individual member who has shown dedication and commitment to LHC and serves as a positive reflection of the organization’s mission and goals. Pass’ efforts to encourage current and prospective members of LHC are seen through his service to the board and marketing and membership committee, participation in events, and recruiting for the program.
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings was named the Supporting Organization of the Year for its ongoing commitment to LHC and enriching the next generation of health care industry leaders. The company engaged in a number of LHC events through membership participation and leadership on the LHC membership and marketing committee, and has been an advocate for both LHC and the Council for many years. As one of the country’s top health care law firms, Bradley Arant Boult Cummings focuses on nearly every facet of the industry, including compliance, operational issues, regulatory oversight, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and syndications, labor and employment matters, clinical research issues, litigation, and tax work.
