Monica Greene, manager of technical delivery and optimization at naviHealth, was named the Health Care Emerging Leader of the Year. This award is given to an individual LHC member who demonstrates outstanding leadership, motivation and talent within the industry. A member of LHC since 2016, Greene has shown consistent drive to become a leader in Nashville’s health care industry. In particular, her service on LHC’s Education Committee over the past two years has helped bring valuable content to Nashville’s emerging health care leaders.
Matt Kroplin, partner at Burr & Forman, received the Ambassador of the Year award. This award recognizes an individual member who has shown dedication and commitment to LHC and serves as a positive reflection of the organization’s mission and goals. A member of LHC since 2014, Kroplin currently serves on the LHC Membership Committee where he has encouraged and supported graduate student membership and shown himself to be a valuable asset to LHC.
Baker Donelson was named the Supporting Organization of the Year for its ongoing commitment to LHC and enriching the next generation of health care industry leaders. Over the past year, Baker Donelson played a key role in LHC’s annual Delegation to Washington, D.C., helping facilitate conversations between Washington’s health care policy makers and Nashville’s health care executives. In addition, Baker Donelson attorneys have served in leadership roles throughout LHC, including chairing committees and served on the LHC Board of Directors.
“This year’s well-deserving award recipients speak to LHC’s commitment and dedication to developing the talent of Nashville’s emerging health care leaders,” said Wes Pass, LHC board chairman and chief strategy officer for CarePayment. “Through our program offerings, LHC provides its members with exceptional educational content, as well as the opportunity to develop a professional network and personal relationships.”
“LHC is pleased to recognize Monica, Matt and Baker Donelson for their achievements over the past year,” said LHC Director, Molly Vice. “As we look toward 2019, we are excited to continue to provide dynamic educational programming and networking opportunities for our members.”
