NASHVILLE – Inc. Magazine placed Centerre Healthcare Corporation in the top 15% of its annual ranking of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in America. This is the third year in a row for Centerre to be included in the Inc. 5000 list. Centerre is listed as the 7th fastest growing private company in the Nashville metropolitan market, and is ranked 42nd among privately-owned companies in the national Healthcare sector.
“We are proud of our continued advancement on the Inc. 5000 List – nationally, locally, and within the healthcare industry,” said Patrick Foster, CEO of Centerre Healthcare. “Our 2011 national ranking improved by 28% over last year’s ranking and we are confident we will continue that progress in the years to come. Centerre experienced a growth rate in excess of 461% from 2006 to 2011, and in this economic time we are especially proud of this progress.”

An example of Centerre’s continued growth is the recent announcement of two partnerships in just the last thirty days. In conjunction with Oklahoma based Mercy Oklahoma Medical Center (Mercy) and University Hospitals (UH) in Cleveland, OH, Centerre is breaking ground on two new facilities. The development of these new hospitals will bring both rehabilitative healthcare services to the community and a positive economic impact by way of job opportunities from construction to healthcare provider.
The companies making the Inc. 5000 list in 2011 posted the largest aggregate revenue figure in the history of the list — almost $366 billion — a 14% increase over the 2010 Inc. 5000 numbers. The Inc. 5000 list is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2006 through 2010. Companies appearing in the list must be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent, not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies, as of December 31, 2010. The list not only represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy (America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs), but it also serves as a unique report card on the U.S. economy.
