Nashville Health Care Council Announces 2024 Event Schedule
HCA CEO Sam Hazen to Moderate Annual Wall Street Event; Sessions Conference Returns

Nashville, Tenn. – The Nashville Health Care Council today announced its much-anticipated 2024 event calendar, promising an exciting lineup of industry-leading events that will engage, educate, and inspire healthcare leaders.
The 2024 event calendar brings several enhancements and exciting additions, including an expanded delegation to Washington, D.C. featuring a board-hosted reception, a new Crucial Conversations series, and the Council's signature Wall Street event, moderated by Sam Hazen, CEO of HCA.
“At the Nashville Health Care Council, we continue to enhance our program and event offerings to deliver even value to our members, providing a one-of-a-kind experience across Council programs and working to tell the Nashville healthcare story in new and dynamic ways," said Apryl Childs-Potter, Council president.
The Council’s 2024 event calendar features new additions and old favorites. A few highlights include:
- The return and expansion of the Nashville Healthcare Sessions conference on Oct. 7-11th. This year’s conference will expand to three days of content and continue with even more associated events throughout the week.
- The Council’s signature Q1 event, Wall Street Perspectives on the Healthcare Industry, will shift to February and will be moderated by Sam Hazen, CEO of HCA Healthcare.
- An expanded DC Delegation in April will bring Council leaders, Council Fellows and alumni, and Leadership Health Care members together in the nation's capital for a three-day series of meetings with policymakers and influencers.
In addition to member events, the Council offers specialized programming for the Fellows class and Leadership Health Care members, designed to help build a strong talent pipeline through education, training and leadership development.
In total, the 2024 calendar boasts more than 65 events, each designed to provide engaging experiences for leaders at all levels within our member companies.
