The Nashville Health Care Council and Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) invite individuals and/or organizations interested in sharing their innovative strategies to improve the delivery of health care using health information technology to apply to participate in the Nashville Health Innovation Exchange. Selected participants will be featured as part of a conference entitled Forum on Transformation through Innovation: Health Care Reform Policy Series V, hosted by the Council and BPC on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT, at the Embassy Suites Nashville South-Cool Springs.
Applications to participate in the Nashville Health Innovation Exchange must be received by Monday, April 30, 2012 and must demonstrate innovations in health care delivery, enabled by health information technology (IT). Applications will be reviewed by a panel of evaluators representing key leaders in health care and health information technology within the state of Tennessee convened by the Council and BPC. Successful applicants will present their innovation at the Nashville Health Innovation Exchange on Tuesday, June 19.
Final decisions for a limited number of presentations and exhibits will be made by Monday, May 28, 2012. Applicants will be notified shortly thereafter. Nashville-based innovations in health care delivery enabled by health IT will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
