Revive Receives “Best Agency to Work For” Award for Second Consecutive Year
NASHVILLE – Revive, a strategic communication firm specializing in Health Services, Health Technology, and Healthy Living, announced today that it has received “The Best Agency to Work For” award from The Holmes Report. The award recognized only four winners in the U.S., one in each category – Boutique, Small, Medium, and Large – out of 2,500 public relations firms in the country. This is the second year in a row that Revive is being honored as the best agency to work for in the Boutique category, and the firm is now a finalist for overall Best Agency to Work For in the U.S. to be awarded at the 2012 Sabre Awards in New York City on May 8.
A leading resource for information about the PR industry, The Holmes Report honors agencies that have the best reputation among employees each year. The Holmes Report noted Revive’s focus on people with “character, integrity, sense of humor, intelligence, health care industry knowledge, and more than anything a sense of dedication” as the determining factors for the competition’s judges.
“We are all about authenticity and transparency, meaning our culture compels us to be the same person at work that we are at home, and to share our lives with people that we care about,” says Brandon Edwards, founder and president of Revive. “This translates into a healthy work environment, including the open-office design which helps inspire great ideas for our clients. When you top that with our passion for health care, no wonder our employees feel that this is the best agency to work for in the U.S. Best of all, that translates into value for clients – a more stable client service team, efficient communication, and seamless transition between strategy and execution.”
Joanne Thornton, executive vice president and founder at Revive, says “Our teams, both in Santa Barbara and Nashville, are very proud to receive this award for the second year in a row. In addition to working hard and our dedication to conducting the best campaigns possible for our clients, we’ve collectively managed to maintain a sense of humor and balanced lives.”
Revive is also a finalist in the “Healthcare Provider” category for The Holmes Report SABRE Awards, which honors exceptional client campaign work in the field of public relations. Winners will be announced at the May 8 ceremony.
The award announcement comes on the heels of a period of rapid growth and recognition for the company. In March, Revive received an honorable mention from PRWeek Awards for Boutique PR Agency of the Year, and earlier this month, Revive won two HPRMA Golden Advocate Awards for overall company marketing and for the firm’s annual Health Care Leaders Summit. In addition, O’Dwyers, a leading PR industry trade publication, ranked Revive the 11th largest health care PR firm in the nation, based on agency fee revenue, as well as a top five best Los Angeles area public relations firm.
